| August 2009 My family and I went on your tour on the 6th of August. My Aunt Cheryl booked the tour for us. I’ m not going to lie… we were all a little hesitant as to what we may have gotten ourselves into with booking a tour on our own. As soon as we got off the Tender and met with Allen, he put all our worries to the side and were super excited about the tour. Allen did a great job at the beginning and the end of the bus tour. He told us a lot about your wonderful country. Our driver was Jason… I think he said he was filling in for someone, but he was awesome!! He did a great job with answering all our questions on the way to the river tour. We loved learning about your country! Once we got to the river we met Amir! What a great guy!! He was a part of the family! We seen things in the river that he says he hasn’t seen in weeks! At first the boat ride was a little scary… I’m not used to going the speeds he was going!! I finally chilled out and enjoyed the ride, cause I knew he knew the river like the back of his hand! He knew so much about the Mayans! That was so interesting to me! I know he is getting married soon, could you please send him our congrats again! Should be any day now! Lastly… Amir’s mom… man can she cook!! That was the best meal we had ever had! Jason, our driver knowing we were on such a tight schedule to get back to the ship suggested we eat on the bus on the way back.. I’ ll tell you this… that was the quietest bus ride I have ever been on!! Out of the 11 family members… no one was talking because everyone was busy eating… and that says a lot cause my family can talk! Lol Thank you so much for a great tour! The Itinerary: We pick you up at your designated location in our clean comfortable and fully air conditioned minibus.
